SEELEY – Kenneth LaVerne Seeley, 65, RR 3, Rochelle, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 1985, in his home, after a long illness. Born Aug. 20, 1919, in Rochelle , son of Arthur and Matilda Hess Seeley. Married the former Emma Tripp in Rochelle, Oct. 16, 1949. He retired from farming for Del Monte Corp, in 1981 after 39 years. World War II veteran of U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Emma, rural Rochelle, and two brothers, Ralph, Dixon, and Arthur, in California. Predeceased by four brothers.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in Unger-Horner Funeral Home, Rochelle, with Pastor Charles Yeakel of United Pentecostal Church, Rochelle, officiating. Burial in Flagg Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
