Karl T. Seeley

(1919- 2011)

Feb. 2, 1919 to May 13, 2011. Karl was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah and attended Utah State College on a music scholarship. He enlisted in the US Air Force as a glider pilot, was a command bomber pilot in Strategic Air Command, and retired as a Major after 20 years of service. He then taught middle school math in Miami, discovered sailing, served as Commodore and was awarded with honorary life membership in the Miami Yacht Club. He built beautiful wood boats and furniture and his passion was fly fishing in the lakes and streams of Utah. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy, his son (pre-deceased 1998), his daughters Marty Seeley (Oregon) and Jeanne Boone, his son-in-law Brad Boone, his granddaughters Kelly and Meghan Boone, his brother Paul Seeley (Utah), and his Godson, Michael Catalano. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
