SEELEY, JOSEPH J. In Branford, Nov.3, 2012, Joseph J. Seeley, 91, of Chestnut St., Branford. Beloved husband of Velma R. Vanlieu Seeley. Father of Carol Perry of North Branford and Steven W. (Cindy) Seeley of Aiken, SC. Grandfather of Danielle Johnson, Michael Perry, Erica Seeley, Steven Seeley and Scott Seeley. Brother of Evelyn Oakes of Maine and Joanne White of Louisiana. Also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son in law, Peter J. Perry, a granddaughter, Gretchen Perry and several brothers. Born March 20, 1921 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada he served with the Canadian Army and was employed for over thirty one years with the New Haven Water Co., retiring in 1987. Interment will be private.
