Mrs. Jay Seeley
VIOLA – Funeral services were held in the Viola Methodist church Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Jay Seeley, 55, former Viola resident who died in a Dodgeville hospital Thursday. The Rev. J.A. Vincent, Lancaster, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Shirley P. Symmonds, pastor of the Viola church. Burial was in the Viola cemetery.
The former Jessie barber was born in Richland Center June 30, 1887. The family moved to Viola, where she was graduated from the Viola high school in 1904. She was married to Jay Seeley on May 10, 1913 and they lived in this vicinity for several years. Their present home is at Dodgeville.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Wilma, Madison, and Verna, Dodgeville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Rohr, Mazomanie, and Mrs. Lou Cole, Los Angeles, Calif., and a brother, George Barber, Denver, Colo.

DODGEVILLE – Mrs. J.E. Seeley, 55, who moved to Dodgeville from Mineral Point a week ago, died Thursday at a Dodgeville hospital.
Survivors include her husband: two daughters, Wilma, Madison, and Verna, Dodgeville; a brother George Barber, Denver, Colo., and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Rohr, Mazomanie, and Mrs. Fred Cole., Glendale, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Viola Methodist church, the Rev. J.A. Vincent of the Lancaster Methodist church officiating.
