James M. Seeley Sr. Basking Ridge husband, father James M. Seeley, Sr. of Basking Ridge, N.J., died on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at age 87. Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 14, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Dooley Colonial Funeral Home, 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield, N.J., followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 125 Elmer St., Westfield. Mr. Seeley was born in Kearny, N.J., on Dec. 28, 1927. He served in the Army during World War II and worked for many years as a chemical operator. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret (Clark) Seeley; two children, James Seeley, Jr. of Tustin, Calif., and Cindy Boyea of Scotch Plains, N.J., and four grandchildren, Ryan Boyea of Nutley, N.J.; Kelsey Boyea of Scotch Plains, and Benjamin and Rebecca Seeley of Tustin, Calif., and his stepbrother, Louis Gurske. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Care Hospice, 110 West End Ave., Somerville, N.J. 08876.
