James H. Seeley

LAPORTE – James H. Seeley, 54, of 404 Plummer St., died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday in his home of natural causes. Mr. Seeley retired from New York Blower as a welder after 18 years of service. He was born Nov. 18, 1939, in Pinson, Ala., and lived most of his life in LaPorte. On May 28, 1960, in Michigan City, he married Bonnie Pedue. She survives with two daughters, Kimberly A. and Amie M. Seeley, both of LaPorte; four sons, James J., Matthew A. and Michael R., all of LaPorte, and Kevin R. of San Diego; three grandchildren; and three brothers, William of Chesterton, Robert of Mobile, Ala., and Sam of Pensacola, Fla. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday in Haverstock Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until services Tuesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
