1924 – 2013
James Seeley died February 14, 2013 at the age of 89. He was born January 14, 1924 in Lodi, California to Milton & Julia (Fielding) Seeley. A Funeral Mass is planned for Thursday, February 21st at 12:15, at St Mary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be at 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service will be at 12:30, Monday, February 25th at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
Jim graduated from high school in Lodi, California. He married Anna Bailey in 1951 in Eugene, Oregon. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific.
Jim owned Superior Upholstery & Drapery in Eugene for over 30 years. He retired in 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Anna, two daughters, Margaret Deffenbaug, and Patricia Garrett both of Vancouver, WA. and four sons, Michael Seeley of Redmond, OR., Gerald Seeley of Alexandra, VA., Rodney Seeley of Eugene and David Seeley of Eugene. A sister, Marrianne Furhmam of Greenvalley, AZ and ten grandchildren.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He will be missed by all.
