JACOB E SEELEY IS STRICKEN, DIES VISITING FRIENDS.

JACOB Edward Seeley, 1012 Ridge Avenue died last night of a heart attack while visiting friends at 946 Wheeler Avenue.

Born in Pittston, a son of the late Emory and Eva Shaffer Seeley. He lived in this city for the past 11 years and was a member of Myrtle Street Methodist Church. Since 1941 he had a trainman for the Lehigh Valley Railroad, and he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Stark: three daughters Mildred Ann, Ruth and Beverly and a son Jacob Kenneth, all at home; a brother Lester, Lake Ariel and three sisters Mrs. Bert Monk, Pittston; Mrs. William Rock, Lake Ariel and Mrs. Francis Hafler Cortez.

The funeral will be held from the Miller Funeral Home, 436 Cedar Avenue, Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev Harold Sloan, Myrtle Street officiating intermit East Canann Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 o’clock tonight.
