HUGH P. SEELEY

GALENA – Services for Hugh P. Seeley, 53, Fredericka, Ia., a former Galena resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Nash funeral home, Galena, with the rev. John Hodgson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Friends may call in the funeral home.

Mr. Seeley was killed instantly about 6 a.m. Tuesday when he was run over by his own truck at a quarry near Alta Vista, Ia.

Mr. Seeley was entering the quarry with an empty truck when the vehicle collided with a loaded truck leaving the quarry. He was thrown from the open cab of his truck and run over by one of its rear wheels.
