Death of Hudson G. Seeley
Hudson G. Seeley, aged 79 years, of Corning, died 9:30 o’clock Sunday evening July 6, at the home of his son, Clarence Seeley, at Gang Mills.
He was born near Knoxville, Pa., the son of William G. and Amanda M. Seeley. His early life was spent in Osceola, Knoxville and Westfield, where he served as Justice of the Peace for 20 years. Several years ago he moved from Middlebury Center to Corning, where he made his home for about 12 years.
He was a member of the Chenango Baptist church and was also a member of McClellan Lodge No. 649, F.& A.M. at Troupsburg. Besides his widow, Julia E. Seeley, he is survived by one son, Clarence, of Gang Mills. The funeral will be held today at 1 o’clock.
