Gladys A. Seeley (nee Olson), was born January 5, 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mom lived life to the fullest and was surrounded by family when she passed away peacefully on December 21, 2006.
She was predeceased by her loving husband John and daughters Karen Elizabeth and Lynda Kathleen.
Family was everything to Mom. She is lovingly remembered by Terry Weber (Janice), Doug (Bonnie), Roland Bailey (Ferne), Susan(Charles), Gayle (Don), Philip (Carol); her grandchildren Michael (Nat), Kathryn (Nick), Selina (Devin), Christopher, Kim, Jennifer, Darren (Tana), Jenna-Marie, David, Candice, Shannon, Justin, Meagen and Kyle; great grandchildren Brandon, Kirsten, Jonas and Zackary; brother Wilfred (Helen), sisterRuth (Richard), brother-in-law Ben and many family members and friends.
Gladys was also predeceased by her sisters Doris, Ethel and Mabel and brother Gordon.
A graveside service will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, Victoria, on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11:00 am with Reverend Steven Swift officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
