Gene Richard Seely, 77, died Thursday of cancer at his Perris home. A California native. Mr. Seely lived in Perris 12 years. He worked at McCalla Brothers for 33 years before he retired in 1990.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Seely is survived by a daughter, Shirley McKissick of Perris; two sons, John Collins of Cihino and Jim of Oregon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother Bob of Sanger; and a sister, Maryann Womelduff of San Jose.
No services are planned. Inurnment will be private. Inland Memorial Mortuary is handling arrangements.
