Gary Lee Seeley SEPT. 27, 1946 – FEB. 12, 2012

TOLEDO, Ohio – Gary Lee Seeley, 65, of rural Fayette, Ohio, died Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 2012, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Hudson, to the late Leo G. and Helen M. (Balis) Seeley. He married Gail Martin on May 6, 1995, in Fayette, and she survives.

Gary graduated from Fayette High School class of 1964, and later attended Barber College in Toledo. He served his country as a construction engineer for the United States Army. He enjoyed pulling ponies, coon hunting, and serving as a golf caddie for his nephew.

Gary attended the Fayette Christian Church-Disciples in Fayette.

Surviving Gary besides his wife, Gail, are two halfbrothers; two half-sisters; two step-sisters, Linda Reisner and Carol Knepper; and an aunt, Inella (Peg) Eidenier.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service for Gary L. Seeley will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette with Pastor Gene Sugg officiating. Interment will take place in Prattville Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorial donations in honor of Gary to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
