Gary Eugene (Cub) Seeley

(1945- 2009)

Gary E. Seeley, 63, Lansing, Mich.

Gary Eugene (Cub) Seeley passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Lansing, from complications of diabetes, a long-time battle.

Gary was born at Orofino, the sixth child of Ray and Hazel Seeley on Dec. 5, 1945. The family lived in Weippe for many years and moved to Headquarters in 1948. Gary went to school in Weippe and Pierce. He worked a short time for CTPA at Headquarters. After his father’s death in 1965, he and his mother moved to Michigan.

Gary loved the Beatles, model cars, comic books and enjoyed video games. He took great care of his mother when she was ill until she passed away in 1985. He was preceded in death also by his brothers, Dennis in 1991, and infant Jimmy Alan in 1933.

Survivors include brother, Gerald (Bud) and wife Shirley of Orofino sisters, Colleen and husband Charles Ross of Lewiston, and Esther and husband Don Chrystal of Juliaetta plus many nieces and nephews and their families.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date. His spirit lives on!

A special thanks to our cousins in Michigan, especially Mike Thomas, who did so much for Gary during his illness.
