SEELEY, Florence Lillie Seeley, age 96, of Shelton died Thursday, February 5, 2003, at Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Cooperstown, N.Y. on December 16, 1906, a daughter of the late Horatio and Nellie Lillie VanName. She was the widow of the late Dr. Robert Seeley. Florence was a registered nurse. She mainly followed her husband’s famous career as an operating room scrub nurse. She is survived by three nieces, Jane Harris, Nancy Harris and June Rickley all of Ohio; a nephew Robert Harris of Ohio; and three great nieces Jeanne Obrenovich, Vicki Fishpaw and Diane Reynolds all of Ohio. She is also survived by one great-great-grand niece, Angie Fishpaw. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at the Dennis and D’Arcy Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, at 10 a.m. with Monsignor Lawrence McMahon officiating. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will take place of Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at 12 Noon at the Westhampton Cemetery, Westhampton, Long Island, NY.
