Fleeta Elizabeth “Betty” Seeley

Fleeta Elizabeth “Betty” Seeley, 80, of Tylertown, died June 16, 2000, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Rushing Cemetery in Tylertown. Capps Funeral Home of Tylertown will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Seeley was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Jonesboro, Ark. She was the daughter of Newt Childers and Mattie Lawrence Childers.

She was a retired florist. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert C. Seeley of Tylertown and three grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Seeley of Tylertown and John Seeley of Willow Springs, Mo.; two daughters, Sandra Arnold and Dianne Miller, both of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
