Emma L. Seeley

(1938- 2014)

UTICA — Emma L. Seeley, 76, of Utica, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Wesbury United Methodist Community. Born Jan. 4, 1938, in Greenwood Township, she was a daughter of James and Irene Arvin. She married Robert S. Seeley on Feb. 14, 1999, and he survives.

She was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and received her registered nurse’s degree in California.

Emma worked as a nurse in California, Arkansas and locally in Sharon and also Edinboro.

She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed quilting and was an excellent seamstress and artist.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 15 years, include two sons, Steve Beck and his wife, Carolyn, and Dan Beck, all of Sheridan, Ark.; a brother, Bert Arvin and his wife, Margaret, of Texarkana, Texas; a sister, Myrtle, of Texas; stepchildren, Robert Seeley and his wife, Sissy, of Linesville, Loretta Interline and her husband, Charles, of Jamestown, Randy Seeley of Conneaut Lake and Kimmy Seeley of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren, Shania and Matthew; and a stepgrandson, Christopher Seeley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There are no calling hours or services planned. Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc., Cochranton, is in care of arrangements.
