VETERAN DROPPED DEAD

Old Soldier Succumbs While Home on a Visit

Edward Seeley, a veteran of the Civil War, dropped dead at Third and Market streets, Camden, Yesterday. He was stopping at a fruit stand when he toppled over and fell to the pavement.

Dr. Alexander McAllister was passing at the time. He made an examination and pronounced life extinct. The remains were removed to the morgue. Coroner Lippincott gave a death certificate. Seeley was an inmate of the Soldier’s Home at Hampton Roads, Va. He was in Camden visiting his brother at the time he met his death.
