Charles D. Seeley

(1891- 1973)

Charles D. Seeley, 81, of 129 West St., Wellington, died this morning in the Golden Acres Home, Amherst, after a long illness.

Mr. Seeley was a retired employe of the Farm Bureau Elevator in Clarksfield. He was born in Brighton, March 7, 1891.

A World War I veteran, he was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred: three daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Marjorie) Funk, Wellington, Mrs. Thomas (Jean) Gaylord, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Jarvis (Joan) Babcock, Ann Arbor, Mich.: three sons, James, Wellington, Lawrence, Elyria, and David, Wakeman: a sister, Mrs. Mary Rowell, Wellington: 19 grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Norton Funeral Home, Wellington, where services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Rev. J.W. Mellick will officiate, and burial will be Brighton.
