Seeley September 6, 2006 Catherine A. (McGadey) Seeley, 87, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Syracuse on August 11, 1919. Catherine was employed for several years by IBM. She was predeceased in death by her husband, James in 1997. She was a former parishioner of St. Brigid’s Church where she was an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and the St. Brigid’s Mother’s Club. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Dr. David (Mary) Seeley of Fayetteville and one daughter, Catherine E. (Robert) Ryan of Westvale; seven grandchildren, Maureen Seeley of Seattle, WA, Sean Ryan and Kelly (Charles) Fassinger of Syracuse, Michael (Erin) Seeley of South Bend, IN, Melissa Seeley of Boston, MA, Matthew and Mark Seeley, both of Syracuse; three great-grandchildren, Madison Rose and Ryan Patrick Fassinger, Eamon David Seeley; several special nieces and very dear friends. Services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180
Bellevue Ave. and 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Syracuse. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to St. Patrick’s Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave., Syracuse, NY 13204.
