Bessie Van Ness Seeley
Mrs. Bessie Van Ness Seeley died Tuesday at 6 p.m. at her home in Mansfield. She was the daughter of John and Louise Wilson VanNess and was born near Mansfield, March 25, 1863. Forty-seven years ago she was married to Judd Seeley, who died several years ago. Three children were born to them, Vera, deceased: Lewis of Rutland, and Carl of Cincinnati. Besides her children, four grandchildren survive.
The funeral was held Friday. Rev. Grey Crippen, of Tioga, officiating, assisted by Rev. D.W. Baylis; burial in Mansfield.
