Seelye, Abner (N.H.), Captain of the “Green Mountain Boys” under Colonel Seth Warner’s Continental Regiment, 5th July, 1776; resigned 1st June 1778; Captain Vermont Militia in 1781.  His son Oliver was a fifer in his father’s company from 1 July 1781 to 30 Nov 1781 in Col. Benjamin Wait’s Battalion.
