Resided Chatham, NJ. In Aug 1800, removed to Wayne Co., PA, and established Seely’s Mills, near Honesdale, PA.

Captain, Major, Lieutenant-Colonel and Colonel New Jersey Militia, 1776 – 1780 .Served in Revolutionary War as Captain and Colonel of Martin’s Battalion, Heard’s Brigade. First Colonel, Battalion State Troops.2
