ROY – Ruth Carol Seeley Saracino, 71, of Roy, returned home to her loving Father In Heaven and to the waiting arms of her beloved husband, “James” on June 25, 2002. She passed peacefully with her children by her side.
“Carol” was born January 29, 1931 to David and Evelyn M. Huff Seeley in Thistle, Utah. She was raised by her grandparents Beulah M. Barker Huff and (Ted) Edwin P. Huff. She married James Saracino August 3, 1948. They were the proud parents of four children.
“Carol” was educated in Spanish Fork, Utah and continued her education in Ogden, Utah and became a cosmetologist. Over time she owned and operated several beauty salons.
She will be fondly remembered for her love, kindness, and generosity towards her fellow men and animals. Her main joys in life were her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Ann (Jim) Sanders of Austin, Texas; Mrs. Candace Mae (Steven) Fern; Mrs. Sisteen Janel (Timothy) Starr; and son Mr. Scott Evan Saracino, all of Roy, Utah; six grandchildren, Velva, Helen, James, Scott Jr., Ashley, and Brittany; and four great-grand children, Aaron, Andrew, Adam, and Aubrey. Also surviving are her brothers, David and Jack, and sisters, Anita and Janice.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, brothers Frank and Robert, and sister Dotty. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful EMT”s and paramedics of Roy City, and the medical staff of McKay-Dee Hospital Center for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made to your favorite children’s charity organization. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, at 1 p.m., at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, where friends may call from 12:00 to 12:45 prior to services.
Interment Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Park.
