Fred A. Seely

Fred A. Seely of Carmel, a retired real estate developer, died Tuesday at Community Hospital after a period of failing health. He was 74.

Born Aug. 17, 1908, in Arcata, Mr. Seely had lived in Pebble Beach since 1944, and he moved to Carmel a year ago. He was a real estate developer in Modesto, retiring in 1969. His memberships included the Monterey Peninsula County Club.

He is survived by daughters, Penelope F. Montgomery of Carmel and Susan F. Lee of Lake Bluff, Ill.; son David A. of Carmel, and Fred A. Jr., of Pebble Beach; sister, Jacqueline Ba__ of Carmel; and one grandchild. His wife, Willa, died in 1978.
