Harriet Elizabeth Seely, 82, died Monday at Manor Care Nursing Center in Walnut Creek.
The native of Spokane, Wash., moved to Walnut Creek 16 years ago from Piedmont. She was a 1930 graduate of UC-Berkeley and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Van Story of Washington, D.C., and Sharon Losee of San Rafael; and four grandchildren. Her husband of 47 years, Ralph Seely, died in 1979.
At her request there will be no services. Arrangements are by the Neptune Society of Walnut Creek.
Memorial gifts may be made to charity.
