Ruth T. Seely

Ruth T. Seely, a homemaker for 51 years, died Monday in Walnut Creek. She was 72.
The native of Bridgeport, Conn., lived in Lafayette for 30 years, before moving to Rossmoor three years ago. She attended Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church, where she formerly served as deacon and was a member of Hilltoppers and Voyagers. She enjoyed bird-watching and golfing, and was also a member of Diablo County Club.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Irving Seely of Rossmoor; sons, Fred and Stephen Seely, both of Walnut Creek; daughter; Linda Giacobazzi of Alamo; and six grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church, Lafayette. Private burial. Arrangements are by Oakmont Mortuary, Lafayette.
