Longtime Hillsborough resident Grace Darling Seeley died Tuesday following a lengthy illness. She was nine days short of her 86th birthday.
Mrs. Seeley was a Kansas City, Mo., native who moved to Hillsborough in 1949. She was a Girl Scout leader, a member of the Stanford Convalescent Auxiliary and of the San Mateo County Medical Auxiliary.
Her husband, Dr. Phillip Seeley, was a resident physician for many years prior to his death in 1977.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Mayock of Hillsborough; and three grandchildren.
No services will be held but contributions may be made to the UCSF Diabetes Center, Room N-411Y, School of Nursing, San Francisco, CA 94143-0606.
