Clyde Seeley, 99

PONTIAC — Clyde Seeley, 99, of Topinabee, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac. Mr. Seeley was born in Nebraska City, Neb., the son of John and Stella (Waddle) Seeley. He married Rose Marie Miller on June 22, 1923, in Crete, Neb. She preceded him in death on May 5, 1993.

Clyde owned and operated a landscaping and excavating business for several years in the Grosse Pointe area. In 1931 he purchased a farm on Burt Lake. He moved to Topinabee in 1943 from Detroit and spent winters in Hollywood, Fla. Mr. Seeley is survived by his son, Eugene Seeley of Topinabee; five grandchildren, including Scott Seeley of Troy, Ronald Seeley of Rochester Hills, Robert Seeley Jr. of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Geraldine Majors of Farmington Hills and RoxAnne Killgallon of Summerfield, N.C.; and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from noon until 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at the Nordman Funeral Home, where funeral services will take place at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Jeff Dinner officiating. Burial will take place at the Mullett-Burt Cemetery in the spring.
