Glens Falls – Cynthia “Cindy” Seeley, of Glens Falls, passed away, Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at Glens Falls Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Born on March 6, 1965, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Dolores Lyons.
Cindy moved to the Glens Falls area at the age of 13 and graduated from Queensbury High School in 1983.
She worked at Glens Falls Hospital as a secretary while attending Adirondack Community College to obtain her nursing degree.
Her career in nursing encompassed the emergency room at Glens Falls Hospital and per diem at Albany Medical Center.
Cindy’s love for nursing also took her to High Peaks Hospice where she stayed for three years.
Cindy loved life and people. She committed her life to caring and helping others.
She was predeceased by her father, James Ingram; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cindy is survived by the loves of her life, her daughters, Samantha Corlew and Shelby Seeley; and her sons, Lucas Seeley and Kolbi Seeley all of Glens Falls; her parents, James and Dolores Lyons of Queensbury; her sisters, Christine Reid of Baltimore, Md., Charlotte Ingram of Laurel, Md., and Colleen Pearsall of Fort Myers, Fla.; several nieces and nephews and her loving friend, Andrew Garner of Queensbury.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2005, at Regan & Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury with the Rev. LaMont Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery in Queensbury.
Family and friends are invited and may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the funeral home.
