Donald Anthony Seeley

1950 – 2018

Donald Anthony Seeley, age 68, passed away on Friday, July 13th, 2018 in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was with Linda Seeley (Rose), his loving wife of 38 years, and Brian Seeley, his brother. He was born in Toronto to Donald Cecil Seeley of Great Britain and Violet Seeley (Mastromatteo) of Toronto, Canada. He is a beloved big brother to four siblings: Ann LaCute, Theresa Mills, Brian Seeley and Joan LaPore. He is survived and loved by his two children Jason Seeley and Rachel Mazur; and his five “Grand-Angels” Georgianna Seeley, Samuel Seeley, Bonita Seeley, Seeley Mazur and Amelia Mazur. Don’s sense of humor made the world a happier place and it drew people to him. He loved and was loved by so many. Don was born in Canada on 5/24/1950 (Victoria Day) where he served as a mounted policeman. Don officially became a citizen of the USA in 2002. He used his keen intellect to create a successful business, DASCO Home Medical Equipment, which he passed on to his children. Don moved to Florida after passing on the business and got involved with the Harley Owners Group. He rode all over North America with his wife at his side. He loved laughing, learning and most especially spending time with his large family. The family organized bridge tournaments back to 1975. Don brought home the trophy more than any other player, much to the chagrin of his ‘cuz’ Dan Masters. He is now the perfect fourth playing in heaven with Nana Mastromatteo, his Mom (Violet) and Uncle Ernie. While he’s up there maybe he can put a good word in for his beloved Cleveland Browns. The family will be hosting a celebration of his life on July 22, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Halifax Yacht Club located at 331 S Beach St., Daytona Beach, FL 32114. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Don’s favorite charity, Camp Boggy Creek
