SEELEY, Robert Thomas Bob Seeley died peacefully at home in Newton on November 30 at the age of 84. He graduated from Haverford and received a PhD in mathematics from MIT. Bob taught at Harvey Mudd, Brandeis, UMass, and in retirement continued to teach to prisoners. He was a kind and thoughtful man of many interests—traveling, music, woodworking, and exploring the outdoors. He is survived by his wife Char Seeley, sister Rita Gadel, children Mara, Lauren, and Karl, children-in-law Jan, Blaise, and Kate, and 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by son Joe. Private services to be held.
