Alice Mina Seely

GETTYSBURG – Alice Mina Seely, 84, of Gettysburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at the Mary House Sub-Acute Care Center in Pierre.

Alice Bevers was born on Aug. 26, 1915, in Avon. She moved with her family to the Gettysburg area as a child.

She married Floyd Earnest Seely on Nov. 23, 1932, in Gettysburg.

She was a life member of the Church of God in Tolstoy.

Survivors include three daughters: Norma Elliott of Woodriver, Ill., Doris Todd of Gettysburg and Helen Weddle of Fort Pierre a son, Robert of Woodriver 10 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren two brothers, Russell Bevers and Eldon Bevers and three sisters: Ruby McNearney, Tressa Halbert and Sharon Dorr.

Services begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of God in Tolstoy with burial in the Gettysburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. today a the United Methodist Church in Gettysburg with a prayer service at 5 p.m.

Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre is in charge of arrangements.
