Betty L. Seely, age 82, of Marysville, formerly of Delaware, passed away peacefully Friday morning at the Halcyon Village, Marysville. Born July 18, 1929 in Columbus. Betty loved spending time with her family on Lake Erie and raising quarter-horses on the farm in her spare time.
Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Margaret Nesser, husband Albert “Abb” Seely, son Doug Seely, sisters Margaret Snyder, Dorothy Berger, Helen Ebhardt.
Survived by loving children, Mike (Lesa) Seely of Plain City, Patricia Seely of Delaware, Pamela (Lynn) Borden of Galena, Jack Seely of New Mexico, Jill (Jack) Havnen of Gahanna; daughter-in-law, Pam Seely of Columbus; six grand-children, Sean Seely of Ft. Myers, FL, Jason Seely of Ft. Myers, FL, Chad Seely of Delaware, Jody (Joel) Queen of Akron, Nick Seely of Columbus, Josh Seely of Delaware; two great-grand-daughters; six step-great-grand-children.
The family will receive friends 2-5 p.m. Sunday, FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 and burial Jerome Township Cemetery.
