After her retirement, she devoted much of her time to the things she enjoyed most. She traveled with her husband, reading, crossword and picture puzzles, gardening, collecting recipes, hours on her computer, and spending time with her grandchildren when possible. She is survived by her husband, Hugh; son, Dennis and wife, Linda of Troutdale; grandchildren Rachel, Michael and wife Alaisha, Jennifer, and Benjamin; sisters Lucille A Simon, Mary Alice Carroll and husband William of Portland, Helen L Thompson of Bellevue, Wash, Phyllis A Gress of Beaverton; and brothers Arnold E Roach and wife Frances of Gresham, and Richard J Roach of Jasper; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched.
