Charles L Seely, 78

BARTOW — Mr. Charles L. Seely of Bartow died Monday (Oct. 30, 2000) in Auburndale. He was 78.

Born in Elmira, N.Y., he came to Bartow from Lewiston, N.Y., in 1981. He was a retired college math teacher. Prior to teaching, he was a chemical engineer. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 84th Division in Europe where he earned the Bronze Star. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bartow.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, Charles, Dublin, Ohio, and James, Fort Pleasant, N.J.; daughter, Carol Harrigan, Tampa; and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Bartow.
