Mrs. Richard Seely

Mrs. Clara Belle Seely, 78, wife of Richard Seely, of the Town of Gorham, died Saturday (May 26, 1956) after a long illness.

Born in the Town of Romulus, she was the daughter of Rymear and Mary Ogden Allen. She and her husband with their son, Allan Seely, and family, moved from Romulus to the Town of Gorham 15 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Seely observed their 54th wedding anniversary in March.

Mrs. Seely was a member of the West Fayette Presbyterian church and of the Friendship Chapter OES.

Besides her husband and son, she is survived by four grandchildren, Mrs. Emory Fox of Rushville, Mrs. Ralph Spike of Middlesex, Mrs. Ralph Spike of Middlesex, Mrs. Leon Button, Jr., of Rushville, RD, and Richard Hall of Syracuse; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the home of her son, with the Rev. Donald D. Crook, pastor of the Rushville Church officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Green Cemetery, Romulus.
