SHAWNEETOWN, Ill. — Daniel “Peewee” Seely, 67, died at 3:15 p.m. Friday at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
He was an Army veteran, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Ridgway Knights of Columbus and St. Mihiel American Legion Post 585 and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
Surviving are his wife, Eunice; and two brothers, Thad of Ridgway and Norbert of West Branch, Mich.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church, with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Vickery Funeral Chapel, where prayer services will be at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church improvement fund or Gallatin County American Cancer Society.
