Our beloved mother and grandmother, Dorothy, 75, passed away at home, with her family, after a lingering illness.
Dorothy was born March 4, 1921, Salt Lake City, to Dewey C. and Priscilla Ball White. She married her sweetheart, John G. Seely, June 14, 1941, solemnized one year later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. John passed away September 7, 1970.
Dorothy lived in Salt Lake, Montana, Washington and Idaho, where she loved working in the Relief Society organization. She was always sharing her baked goods with family, friends and neighbors. Dorothy took good care of herself, always walking and conscious of her diet. She faithfully attended the Jordan River Temple weekly. She was continually serving her friends and family.
Survived by one son, David and Sue, Riverton; daughter, Joan and Kearns Lawson, Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Chad and Jenny White, Logan; sister, Colleen and Robert West, Bountiful; grandchildren, Amber, Tiffany, Brig, Matt, Jared, Joshua, Nicole; great-grandchildren, Cody, Whitney, and Paden.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3, 1996, 12 noon at the Cottonwood 13th Ward, 1830 East 6400 South. Friend may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd., Wednesday, October 2, 1996 from 6-8 p.m. and from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to service at the church. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
