Edward B Seely, aged 70, father of William Seely of Southampton, passed away at the Southampton Hospital last Friday morning. Funeral rites were held at the Brockett Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and interment was in Oakland Cemetery, Sag Harbor. Presbyterian Church officiated at the services.
Besides his son, William, with whom he had been living for the past six months, having moved here from North Haven, Mr. Seely leaves a daughter, Mrs. Louise McCoury of Elkin Park, Pa; three other sons, Harold of Wooster, Ohio, Frank of White Haven, Tenn., and Elbert of Bremerton, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Van Brunt of Southampton, Mrs. Blanch Fanning and Mrs. William Duryea of Providence RI, and a brother George Seely of Southampton.”
