Frances Fisher Seely

Mrs. Frances Fisher Seely, 71, 409 -7th Ave., died Thursday noon in a Salt Lake hospital after a brief illness.

She was born Oct. 28, 1880, in East Mill Creek, a daughter of Mary M. Neff and James Madison Fisher Jr.

She was married to Don Ralph Seely about 1900. He died in 1940.

Mrs. Seely was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having been an active worker in the Sunday School, Primary Assn., YWMIA and Relief Society.

Surviving are two sons and seven daughters, Mrs. Fay S. Winn, Ila Marr Seely, Mrs. Raola S. Weenig, Mrs. Minerva S. Wiseman, Wilson Al. Seely and Mrs. Beth S. Treadway, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Neva S. Nell, Omaha, Neb.; Ralph L. Seely, Topeka, Kan., and Mrs. Alfa S. Elsasser, Richmond, Cal.; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the East Mill Creek Ward Chapel, 2700 E. 3400 South, by Cannon Young, bishop of Ensign L.D.S. Ward. Friends may call at 260 E. South Temple Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Elysian Burial Gardens.
