GEORGE “BUDDY” SEELY

MEADE – George “Buddy” Seely, 65, died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at his home in Meade.

He was born Dec. 25, 1934, to Willy Robert and Sarah (Moore) Seely in Sunset, Ark.

He retired from Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, in January of 1998.

He married Judith Ann Bergen March 2, 1962, in Mingo. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Raymond Seely, Meade, and Richard and wife, Wendy Seely, Ulysses; two daughters, Roxann Paramore and husband, Raymond, Little River, and Rosalee Hulett and husband, Allen; his mother, Sarah Hutchens of Arkansas; four brothers, James, Donnie and J.D. Seely, all of Arkansas, and Charles Hutchens, Meade; three sisters, Daisy Harrison, Ruby Golab and Martha Cooper, all of Arkansas; and seven grandchildren.

* Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2000, at the Church of the Nazarene, Meade, with the Rev. Wayne Wilson presiding.

Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.

Burial will be at the Plains Cemetery in Plains.

Memorials are suggested to the George Seely memorial fund, in care of Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Box F, 212 S. Fowler St., Meade, KS 67864.
