JUSTIN — George Truman Seely, 81, of Justin passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, at a Denton hospital.
Service: A private family service is planned for a later date.
Memorials: Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, 2222 Welborn St. #4, Dallas, Texas 75219.
He was born July 31, 1927, in Denton County to Roy Edward Seely and Flora Lee Lynch Seely. He served in the military during World War II and was a member of Justin First Baptist Church. He married Maricela Quiroz in Justin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Lee Seely.
Survivors: His wife, Maricela Seely; sons, Billy George Seely, Richard Lee Seely and Justin Truman Seely; sisters, Wilma Webb, all of Justin, and Sue Hayes of Denton; and four grandchildren.
