SEELY, Gordon D. Gord Seely died peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Gord was the beloved husband of the late Delia Seely (née Zintel). Loving father and father-in-law of Brenda Seely and Thomas McManus. Gord will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Dorothy Cardinal (the late Raymond), Louise Zintel (the late Jack), brother-in-law Henry Zintel (Mary), nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Mayfield Retirement Home in Prescott for their many kindnesses over the last 3 years. In particular, for the daily Gazette delivery. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville, Ontario on Friday October 13, 2017 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Gord’s Life in the Chapel at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
