Ila Dyer Seely, 90, a homemaker, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, in Granbury.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Seely was born July 15, 1913, in Lancaster where she met and married Terry C. Seely Sr. on Feb. 28, 1929. They were married one day short of 75 years. Ila and Terry square danced for many years with several clubs in Fort Worth. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Dixon and Maude Dyer; one son, Terry C. Seely Jr.; one sister, Helen Lawhon; two brothers, D.O. Dyer and Y.C. Dyer.

Survivors: Husband, Terry C. Seely Sr; daughters, Delorise Fyke and husband, Philip, Joyce Cole and husband, Bobby and Shelbie Giambra; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
