ISAAC V. SEELY TAKEN BY DEATH

Month’s Illness Fatal To Springfield Man

Isaac V. Seely, 87, died at 5:20 a.m. Saturday at his home, 1421 Broadway, following a month’s illness. He was born in Lenawee County, Mich., and had lived in Springfield for 16 years. Mr. Seely was a member of the Church of God on Maiden Lane.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Effa Seely; four sons, Claude V., and Lester V., both of Springfield; Stanley D. of Columbus and Perley R., of Bellefontaine; five daughters, Mrs. C.L. Quinn of Lima; Mrs. H.A. Ratcliff of Alexandria, La.; Mrs. Fred Mack of Morenci, Mich., and the Misses Mae and Mary Seely, both of Springfield: 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The body will be taken to the Jackson Funeral Home and will be returned to the residence at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of God on Maiden Lane with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
