Jacob Leroy Seely

Jacob Leroy Seely, aged 60, who resided at 814 Allegheny avenue extension in Oil City, died at 5:20 p.m. yesterday in the Oil City hospital.

He was born on May 19, 1884, and for the past 25 years had been an engineer for the Pennsylvania Electric Co.

Mr. Seely leaves his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Berda Hood of Wesleyville, two grandchildren, two brothers, Ralph R. Seely of Townville and Walter L. Seely of Troy Center. He was a member of Grace Methodist church, the Men’s Brotherhood and the I.O.O.F.

The body is at the Osenider funeral home and arrangements for services will be announced Friday.

Services for Jacob Leroy Seely will be conducted from Osenider funeral chapel in Oil City at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Rev. J.C. Whitlatch of Grace Methodist church will officiate and interment will be in Wintergreen Gorge cemetery in Erie.
