Seely, John V. of O’Fallon, Missouri, died on Friday, December 26, 2008 at the age of 77. Dear son of the late William Raphael Seely and the late Viola C. Finder; dear brother of Viola (Jim) Fortner, Evelyn (Stanley) Bax, Pat (Bob) Fieser, Bertha (Larry) Libbert, Gus (Mary) Seely, Gerri (Tim Dunn) Redden, and the late Bill Seely; he is also preceded in death by a stepfather, Bert Finder; he is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was employed in the Maintenance Department at Fort Zumwalt School District for six years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Assumption Catholic Church in O’Fallon, MO.Services: Cremation by the BAUE Crematory. Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 2, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Gus Seely, 422 Shady Lane, O’Fallon, MO 63366.
