JOSEPHINE BIGELOW SEELY

Josephine Bigelow Seely, 78, died Nov. 23, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Seely, a native of Belmont, N.Y., was formerly owner and operator of Seely Oil Service. She was a member of Oakdale Presbyterian Church and former member of the ladies auxiliary of East Ocean View Volunteer Fire Department. She was the widow of LeRoy Hugh Seely.

Survivors include three daughters, Connie J. Millering, Barbara A. Vohringer and Sharon S. Hovestadt, all of Norfolk; five sisters, Evelyn Sizer of Wellsville, N.Y., Pauline Miller and Lena Brooks, both of Belmont, Bernice Benjamin of Norfolk and Thelma Pierson of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; a brother, John Bigelow of Belmont; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Robert W. Tull. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be sent after the service to J.W. Embser Funeral Home, Belmont, for burial in Forest Hills Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
