Leslie Cyrus Seely, 95, passed away August 3, 1993 in Cedar City.
He was born July 7, 1898 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Cyrus Moroni and Mattie Lenora Christine Neilson Seely. He married Ora Margaret Johnson, October 18, 1922 in Richfield, Utah. She died April 29, 1981. Leslie was active in the LDS Church and helped in establishing the bee industry in the state.
He is survived by three sons, Leslie C. Seely, Jr., Cedar City; James Delmar Seely, West Jordan; and Erin Simeon Seely, West Valley City; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 7, 1993 in the Redmond LDS Chapel. Friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. at 1850 No. State, Salina, Utah and also from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment in the Redmond Cemetery under the direction of the Warren R. Jensen Funeral Home.
